When the Flu Got Me Down, I Got to Work

I hate it when I get sick. I feel like I am losing vital work time because my body decided to feel bad. Maybe I am a bit of a workaholic, but I do not like trying to catch up on work that I missed out while I was at home in bed. However, when I got the flu, I knew there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to make it to work. I was going through the fever and the aches and pains that anyone who has ever got the flu can tell you all about. I should have been resting, but my responsible nature was at war. There were things I needed to get done for work.

I knew I could not go to the office and I knew I could not even go at full steam, but I needed to get just a couple of things done before I rested through the illness. Therefore, instead of letting the things go undone, I logged onto my Clear wireless Internet.

I know that rest is the only way to overcome illness, but I sure did rest easier knowing the things I needed to complete had been done. It was a huge help when I went back to work to have less to catch up on.
