My purchase was from DE, Western Digital Caviar Green 1 TB Bulk / OEM Hard Dr.. . In reality, not 1 TB; The disc is actually a 911 GB HARD DRIVE. Be careful when buying, as I will be And I probably will not BUY Western Digital again. I’ve paid for tuberculosis, was denied pero.Valoración: 2 / 5
These are HD 5400. Therefore, the largest size that can range from 1 TB. Look it up in the Western Digitals website. . . not the list of RPMs as does the series Black and Blue Series. Hard to find a place where the list of RPM, but only trying to understand 5400RPM NO 7200. Rating: 1 / 5
For those who do not know that you can use your Windows restore disk to format the hard disk. You must have a full Windows DVD. Luckly I do not use Windows, use Linux. My problem is that the unit would give me a disk boot failure every time another that launched it. I’m sure it’s just a defective unit, what happens. My real complaint is that saving energy is equal to slower responses. Actually performed better on my old Seagate. So I’m going back to Seagate. Avoid “green”, the hard drive of the West, get black. Unless you really do not want a quick response from your hard drive. I’ve never had problems with Western units before, I’d say it’s only “green”, the version that you should avoid. Rating: 1 / 5
First hard drive that I have received format could not be beyond 73%. He returned for another, and had the same problem. I have read comments from others on the web and people had the same complaints. They can have a quality control problem with this model, in the past have been very pleased with WD. I’m going to give up the hard drive of 1TB, I have not read any bad review on the web about them. Rating: 1 / 5
I have the drive. I tried for a week to format it, kept coming up to 100 Mbs, not read or write tool Rating: 1 / 5
