  1. I’ve been a person of HP from the 94. The units were good and the service was good. This was for desktops, which are still good – but. I purchased 4 laptops in the past three years and 3 HP are not running. The of 07 died within a day or 2. Returned. Last year, the screen is dead and can not get to replace it or fix it though is the security of the footman under the support team e-mail. I bought another a week ago and was dead at delivery. The laptop I am still running an old IBM. This is for my home use. At work I buy MAC computers. Dell laptops that we bought years ago, some still functioning but is 6-7 years and swapping parts to fix others. 8 I just bought HP desktop and all are good. I would recommend a Dell or a Toshiba if you need a laptop and has to be a PC, but do not know how well your replacement occurs because survived guarantees unlike HP-Compoop portable. Get a Mac laptop, if you can afford, and have programs that require a PC. Rating: 1 / 5

CQ 60-410 I bought my computer 28 August 09. 09 Today is 28 September. I spoke by phone with tech support more times than I can count trying to figure out why this piece of garbage continue to receive a blue screen error and closing. After a month of calls they finally decided that I need to return to the factory so they can fix it. The kicker is now HP has decided to no longer pay for shipping your defective product back in WARANTEE. This unit must remain operational for more than a day at a time, technical support can not be fixed (much teling I contact Microsoft, all Microsoft’s fault, if you listen to them) and now I get to the fork out some U.S. $ 20-30 for shipping and insurance. Send a message to HP, do not buy their garbage. Rating: 1 / 5

  3. We bought 2 of these computers to my daughters in college and high school. We have a home network that we have 4 other teams created, and at this point, after 2 weeks, still can not get these to keep an Internet connection. They have spent hours on the phone with the help of HP. . . which apparently can not help us either get online. We both work with computers for life, and have had 4 or 5 computers networked through our timecapsule MAC, and have never had a problem of any kind. I was trying to save money, and do good business, but ended up spending money that we had, on computers that do not work. If I had to do it again, would spend the extra money and get a MAC. This was a terrible purchase. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought two Compaq laptops for Christmas 2008. Four months after using my laptop, the screen spontaneously cracked. Almost did not take it anywhere and when I did, I used a heavy carrying case. HP / Compaq took into consideration for repair, at my expense. $ 429 to replace the screen, I chose not to. The second PC has a bug in the screen needs to be repositioned every 30 minutes or so when it goes all the fight blancos.Después HP in the first pc I have no desire to do so in the second. Not up to “tag Built to Last” on the keyboard. HP does not live up to its guarantee. My 16 family members have agreed that never by HP / Compaq products never más.Valoración: 2 / 5

  5. My first laptop, and I could not be more satisfied. Fast downloads and the big screen are two characteristics that I like. I use the AC cord, so the battery life short (2 hours) is not a factor for me. Great price, great value for money! Full-sized keyboard as well. Rating: 5 / 5
